173 “Lötschental”, at Spiez with a Zweisimmen to Interlaken train on 24/08/07 (JW).
The weekend of Saturday and Sunday 26th and 27th May 2018 will see a farewell railtour to the BLS class Re425 “Brown Bomber” electrics. The train will run from Interlaken Ost and will feature up to five locos over the two days. Further details will become available in due course.

European Traction 
In the near future the RhB Ge6/6 II Class will be withdrawn, a big disappointment for me and no doubt many. Will a railtour be arranged for there farewell? A double or triple headed tour with that class would be good. If need be I could try and arrange one when the time comes.

Hi Andrew – there aren’t any plans that I know of, although I totally agree that their passing will be a sad day and some sort of farewell is certainly in order. It goes without saying that if you do arrange anything, I will do my best to publicise it via this site! All the best, Jonathan.
