2143 069 – crash test dummy
On 1st May 2013, 2143 069 was involved in a level crossing crash test for an ÖBB safety video. It was painted in an orange livery and lined out like a crash test dummy for the occasion, and drained of all fluids to reduce the chance of fire; it was propelled into a car positioned across the rails by sister machine 2143 040.
