2802 was involved in a fatal accident at Duffel on 14/06/12 whilst working a train on the Amsterdam to Brussel corridor, when it collided with a protruding crane jib which in turn struck and killed a trackworker. A news article video (in Dutch) on the accident can be seen here, which shows the damage sustained to the 28, which was not severe.
